I bought my 2nd SRT-10 in October of this year with only 15,400 miles on the odometer. I had ask you guys what mods I needed to drive like I intended (40-50K miles a year in everyday use). You gave me all good info which I greatly appreciate. I got a PM from a guy 130 miles away that offered his services to do the mods. I reviewed past post here and decided he was relative sane considering our SRT-10 affliction. He suggested the mods and I sent him a cashier’s check for over 7K having never met this guy in person (I know, not bright but from Texas I do take a risk now and then, ask him about my driving).
I took my baby to the doctor at 19K miles (I needed to get acquainted with her before surgery) and the 1st order of business was to dyno it (397.6/442.3). I was a little disappointed but had hopes of better stats after the mods. DR. VIPER as I call him preformed the following:
Belanger headers, 3â€￾ aluminized pipe w/VX series mufflers, Venomous UD pulley, K&N FIPK Cold Air Kit, Roe Racing Throttle Body, MSD plug wires, Venomous Racing 2400 torque converter, HTS Valve Body and shift kit, SCT tuned by Chris Jensen and Venomous Racing.
Picked up my 10 on the 21st of Nov, 2012 and drove it a little before returning on the 6th of Dec for the final dyno. Drove back and had the Dr. inspect before preforming the post mod dyno of the beast (it’s a beast to me anyway). With the correction factor calculated my 10 showed 431/505. I do realize these figures are nothing like what most of you guys turn in, still I am really pleased. :D
But-----I caught the decease/affliction/fever so looking for a single cab to have Scott aka VENOMOUS1 aka DR. VIPER do the full treatment. The only way I could be more pleased with DOCTOR VIPER is if he lived a little closer to my home. He is meticulous, knowledgeable and genuinely honest. Traits not often found any longer.

Glad your truck turned out the way you wanted. There are some great folks on these sites.:rock:

You need a set of Striker's now!! Ronnie is the man to talk to. :D:D

oldcolt, thought I had gone about as far as possible before needing to beef up the rods pistons etc. my 10 is an everyday truck. 550 miles a week just going to and from work.

Glad to see another daily driven 10! Other than gas mileage, my truck holds up really well to daily driving/stop go.

Ronnie put 100,000km on his "daily driver" Striker build. Done right, you will not have issues and as a plus, your fuel mileage will go up.:)

Thanks for the compliments Shorty and was happy to transform you stock truck into a daily drivin highway terror! :D
Vettes, mustangs, Camaros will hate seeing your taillights :burnout:
Look forward to future surgery on your SRT10 to make her even more menacing!
