The Harley Truck Boys are coming..........This should be good for a mid to high 10 second run. (They have the wheels and slicks to do it)

yeah but how long can they keep that up w/out a rebuilt lower end/new pistons etc?
Probably already are built.

Also, Kenne Bell has got another (even larger) displacement supercharger in the works for the L's and I'm sure the sc'd HD's as well. A 2.6 liter unit which looks to be making some impressive numbers! A guy who goes by the name of Johnny Lightning had posted a dyno graph over on F150online which showed numbers quickly approaching 700+!

Lots of R&D and the resulting BIG HP is what you get when there are thousands upon thousands of your 'limited edition' vehicle.

$3600 for a built bottom end. And yes, that guy already has one.

The really strange thing is that KB and whipple continue to do this R&D on vehicles that are no longer being produced.

those new KBs for the L's are crazy.....10's all day long...still it is a kids truck from Jack in the Box...

Yeah but they're still on the road, being modified by their owners. Just like the 5.0 Mustangs. Plenty of money to be made...

That's the thing about our trucks...we will never have the R&D that the Fords guys have because

#1 - only about 6k of these trucks were sold and maybe 10k were made??

#2 - most people that buy these trucks don't race them, or mod them very much (maybe due to cost - double edge sward). I mean, look at this board, about 5...or MABYE 10 trucks are Forced induction, compared to the 440 that are N/A

So with that being said, unfortunately, they will pass us by dollar-for-dollar mod wise. 700hp in a RC SRT is a lot more then 700hp in a Ford

Yup - I seem to like this type of punishment??:dontknow:

First my Syclone, with less than 3,000 built, and about 5,000 Typhoon's built, they were never 'cheap' to mod. I spent waaay more on that truck to run 10's then a comparable dime-a-dozen Lightning.

Now this truck? Though this time, I have no intentions of going nutz, even though I dropped over 2K - for headers and mids.:confused: :)

Safe to say, I just like to have a vehicle that's somewhat rare.:D

Absolutely! That's why I replaced my 620rwhp Harley Truck with the SRT10!

I am with you there.

Love it when I get her out...turn's heads all the time.... Go to a car show, and your usually the only 10 there...once and a while you might see another one.
Rare I see another one on the road, and enjoy the peek's when I get the chance.

I am really happy with mine.
