Thinkin about some Air Bags

I'm thinkin about putting air bags on the truck. Just trying to get ya'lls opinon about them.Like hows the ride and the control? I've only seen one on you tube, but it had 26" rims on it. I'm gonna stay with the orginal rims. I tryed a 2-4 drop and it would hit to hard with all the pot holes and bumps down in south louisiana. I just want that lowered look when i'm stopped some were.

I have had a mini truck with air bags and it had a surprisingly smooth ride. It didnt have the kind of power these trucks have so I dont know the kind of effects it would have with the airbags on it. As far as the control to drop it down and lift it up you just need some electric air valves and compressor with an air tank. http://www.airbagit.com/

I had a Dakota R/T on an Air Ride Tech. system,one thing to keep in mind is that when the bags are all right down that the tires are not touching anywhere,reason for this is if you ever have a blown bag or screwed up valves for some reason you will still be able to drive it to get it fixed.The big draw back is they become a pain to work on being so low,also put an aluminum air tank on it with an air dryer and also make the valves very accessable,like in the box.
