Went to a boat show over the weekend and absoutely fell in love! The boat show was at a marina here, and I see this dead sexy Four Winns. I want it pretty bad. There is a sacrifice, the truck.
I love this truck too, but I don't think I've got to enjoy it to its fullest potential. I've never had it to the track, and I don't go to many of the local GTG's. Mainly cause its HS kids with their rice. There is some muscle, but not many folks I know or some I've lost touch with. The motorsport crowd I used to roll with a few years ago, well most of them have down sized, their shit is still broke or they're not into anymore either. We all used to stay out til 3 or 4 in the morning and street race. I just don't find much excitement in that anymore. 1) its illegal. 2) its dangerous. 3) My main circle of friends now aren't into it. . . 4) I'm usually drunk by then
My GF also told me, she'd rather have a new boat so we both could enjoy it, cause she loves going out. To be totally honest, she doesn't enjoy the truck like I do. Like I said before, I don't enjoy it as much as I should. I do want to get something we both would enjoy.
I've got a few things to take into consideration. IF I sell my truck to get a boat, I'll need something to tow it with, or either keep it at a marina. Slip rental can be outrageous. Fuel on the water is rediculous too. But if I keep at a marina, I just call them and tell them to put it in the water and its at the dock waiting on me. Or I can either get a wet slip, and have access to it 24/7. With dry storage, its only available during business hours.
I'm kinda torn on which way to go. To see the boat go to: http://www.yachtworld.com/leaving_yw.cgi?url=http://www.fourwinns.com Go to the Horizon series then go to the 220 SS. This thing has through the hull exhaust and is powered by a 5.7L. Its got some damn attitude. Its got the racks/tower with spot lights and ski/wakeboard storage. Its also got satelite radio and ipod integration! The one I am drolling over has a fiberglass top on it, maybe 3' long by 8' wide. so its got some shade. Also comes with canvas bimini top and trailer. And its orange like that one too. Has the orange piping in the seats. They want like 50K for it. . .
Edit: Here is a link to the exact boat.
