Well......I'm thinking about selling the "red beast" and the chopper....I was thinking about selling them together, something like a combo deal.....any suggestions on how much???? Or is anyone interested??? I have close to $48K in the bike and damn near $65K in the truck (what I paid for the truck and boomers work all together)......The bike only has 760 miles on it----perfect condition and the truck only has 3300 miles---also in 100% perfect condition.....Just need the money to add on to the house and thinking about becoming foster parents....so the money would definitely come in handy.....I'm still young and need to get some priorities straight....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated......or maybe you all know of someone who would be interest in the "package deal"???? Thanks fellas and ladies.....

Be prepared to lose your a$$. I'm sure you're aware of the lack of a strong market for these trucks. Best of luck, just be prepared.

I'd really try to hang onto the truck- I predict the values will take an upturn starting 2007- as there is no more made......

Now is not a good time to sell your truck. If you can I would wait a few years when the supply is not as large as it is now. Just my opinion.

Bill.

I think you're going to lose more money than it's worth ... the only reason I took the loss on my rc (that I recently traded in) is because A: I got 0% financing (meaning my payments didn't go up)B: my rc needed 5K of work done and C: towing become a requirement(which I didn't anticipate)

So, with that, it's best to sell if you can cost justify it.. if you need the cash figure out what it's going to cost if you take out a loan and compare that interest with the loss on your truck/bike... use a spreadsheet if you need too.. crunch the numbers and see what makes sense...

good luck, btw 685 :) nice truck... except for the chain hanging on the mirror :p

Ill give you my buddies name and number. He's looking for a S/C'd RC right now. I turned him on to Patricks old truck but the guy sold it for 33k.....it had like 5k miles and was EXTRA clean......so that should give you a guage for value.....yours and Patricks are comparable except yours is 04.....so prolly low 30ish IMO....

I really would like to sell them together....I know I will take a hit on them both, but if someone comes along with a good offer then I am willing to let them go....thanks everyone

Not to be a nay sayer, and contrary to what alot of people think, just because you sunk loads of money on mods into your truck (or 95% of any other vehicle, especially late model ones) it doesnt add alot to the value and to alot of non enthusist types it may even subtract value. I see it alot of adds saying "over $10,000 in mods" and they think it should add a equal amount to the asking price but unless you find just the right buyer mods are probably worth less than 1/2 there cost.

Selling them together will get you less $$$$....for maximum cash, sell them separately.....on the truck, you'd probably be better off selling your mods, replacing with your stock hardware, and selling as a stock truck....

:D Thats obvious.....thats why I said a "good" offer not a "great" offer.....I'm not selling them because I am on my last dollar....Both are paid for...title in hand....I'm just selling them because I would like the extra money in the bank for up coming things in my life......and I tend to disagree about the mods....if you look into putting "mods" into your vehicle, you will spend a hell of alot more than what I am, or anyone else for that matter, is asking for in their price.....I have a total of $115-120K in both together and I am almost willing to take half of that for both......plus I have less than 4K miles in both of them together.....hey, if I don't sell them----oh well.........I will still have a nice bike and truck.....just looking out for my future and my children.... :D

I was thinking that myself.....I may end up doing that and trying out ebay...just didn't know how much in taxes ebay charges to sell a vehicle....I was just giving forum members a chance at both for a good price.....:D

Good luck!
AutoTrader had a sudden surge in Ram SRT-10 listings for my area, +5 in one week!
Hopefully this isn't a nationwide trend, but limited to my 50 mile radius.
