Thinking of buying SRT-10

Hi All,

So I'm pretty set on buying a SRT-10 but not sure if I should buy an 04, 05, or 06. Besides the obvious headlight, fender, bumper difference between the 04/05 and 06, what other differences are there if any?

You can't go wrong with any year.....although the 05's are better looking and faster.

heavier yes..slower? naw.....Interior at first didnt like it but its growing on me more and more...Girls love the heated seats when their behind is cold And we dont need no middle seat :rock: :rock:

I waited until I could find an 2006 because like the updated styling a little better and 2006 is the last year they were produced, but they are all badass. :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

I think the 05 and 06 have lower gears. The 06 is supposed to have a more rigid body according to DC.

Get an 05 with extra doors so you got a place to put your sh9t

Course did I mention they are a lot slower, automatic, and high in the ass end because of the towing package, but much prettier. But you really can haul shit with it, well, pull a trailer if you wanted to.

Just BS'n, I think they are all badass lookin, and if I had it to do over I'd probably try and find a CE or something a little more rare. And unless you got money hanging out your you know what, get one that's modded already by someone who knew what they were doing. Or if you like doing things yourself you'll want a lot of money on hand for any of these trucks....they are expensive to maintain and operate.

one thing, if you plan on serious mods or hp, think about the RC , the trannies in the QC;s can get expensive

They can get pretty damn expensive on the RCs as well
Welcome to the VTCoA:rock: There's really no HUGE difference between the year models... it's just personal preference on the looks.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Definitely going with a RC with the 6 speed.

As far as styling is concerned, is there any difference between the 04 and 05? Leaning toward an 04 because they seem to be the least expensive!

So am I correct in assuming that suspension and drivetrain are the same for all years?

The brakes are different, but I don't think you can notice. The rear ends are also different... 4.10s in the 04, 4.56s in the 05-06.
