Thinking of trading truck for Viper

Well, I already have a 2005 Copperhead, but I was thinking of adding a 06 Coupe to the stable (there is a Red/Silver, five spoke one that is close to me and they are willing to negotiate). I guess I am sick of seeing the price of the truck falling faster than anything I have ever owned. Plus I want it to be faster and handle better, but that is a waste of money as it will always be a truck.

Can you guys think of a better car for around $75K (besides a z06, cuz it looks like every other vette)?

What about a lotus elise or exige? Cheaper, plus you already have a viper. I would never trade the truck for one though....

I looked at the Exige S and its so very small. Two people can't even be remotely comfortable in the car. Plus it is $65K for 220 horsepower and no torque (that's around 8lbs per horsepower versus 6.67 for the Viper).

I'd get an 03-04 vert for 50k, spend 25k on it and haul ass.

Patrick that little f'er escaped the yard three times this morning right in front of us. The stupid snow...that we have had for 2 1/2 months is still very close to the top of our 4' fence and he discovered today that he can climb out very easily.... I need to move instead of buying another Viper. Maybe I need a Cummins Diesel Truck...with super duty 4 x 4 if we keep getting snow like this...

Snow is to the top of a 4 foot fence!!!! Seems you need a new fence, that would be the cheaper option..........but not as fun either!! LOL

if you can kick in another 25K I'd look at either an 04 carrera turbo or an M6... and personally I'd buy the z06 over an 06 viper... hands down... no contest...

Get a 98/99 viper (99 having cooler stuff ) add a blower on it, and walk z06's all day...

I wish I had my truck back though ..wish I could afford both <sigh>

not that the viper isn`t one bad ass car but.....this is the ultimate car.but you will have to throw more than an extra 25,000 in for it...more like an extra 200,000. this is my dream car,they say dream big right?:rock:
