i have been on the phone with epa. emissions, and every exhaust store from here to BFE. Every shop told me they could not delete my two rear cats so i got on the phone with epa and ems. They did alot of research for me and called me back today and informed me that it was illegal to do so until 80k miles. Even if i was to pass ems and have no problems if checked i would face a fine and what not. Furthermore, when deleting the two rear cats does the computer need any adjusting? Because all the exhaust gave me warning about that. I personally do not see that that would be needed?

Mine are deleted with no probs.
Ditto !!! No sims or foulers needed on my QC. Might be diff on RC:dontknow:

It is illegal to remove any of the cats but some local small shops will do it but they are risking $$$$ in fines if caught....you just have to find the guy who needs the money and is willing to take a chance....might help if you know someone who knows a shop...

anyone else from tn know how to assist in this situation?

The easiest thing to do is just buy catless midpipes....When you need to just reinstall the oem pipes for emissions and such...I wouldnt hack your oem pipes

I have had two of the four removed without any codes !!!The two left have the O2 sensors on them !!
