It's not being able to fully integrate the new Engine Controller with the existing truck that would hold me back.

That's what I was waiting to see. Factory CAN controller won't integrate with the rest of the truck, unless he's gonna use a standalone. If he had snagged a 2006 then it would be doable.

They will have to use a Standalone. Forced induction at higher levels is WAY beyond the capabilites of a JTEC controller.
