A week after my wife let me buy my truck I was cruising in Easton PA..I didnt know the area very well, and after a trip into Lowea, I cam out, started the truck and the computer thing read 0 mi till empty..I drove about 10 miles shitting bricks the whole way..I didnt want to have to call the wife and tell her my supertruck had run out of gas..lol

Just be careful. Running out of gas puts alot of strain on the fuel pump. Funny story though.

3 weeks ago i drove my truck home with 2 miles dte...On my way to the gas station Which was about 3miles away it starting to countdown...I was confident that it really had more then that left in her but I swear to you that a 1/8 mile after it said "0 DTE" the thing died on me with the gas station a few blocks away...I dont know how accurate it is but it was pretty much dead on for me...After the consumption indicator is a calculation derived from the injector "on-time" or pulse-width aka how much you mash the pedal and the level of the fuel in the tank...So if you drive consistently the same way the DTE can be accurate....
