I built them myself in less than 30 minutes and for less than any other lines you see online.

Mine started to slowly leak early on. Once I learned of a TSB on the matter I had them lines replaced under warranty. It's been almost three years now and still no leakage..

Not really.
If they fail, it's my fault.
I built them.

Hose rating is 300 psi. Not sure on the heat rating, but I can check.
I went with nylon braid for a couple of reasons:
1. Less weight than stainless steel (by about 40%).
2. Less heat retention than stainless steel.

AN fittings are used all over the aerospace industry.
I think I'll be okay.

I dont think there was a recall bo, not sure tho, but I dont know if they will fix out of warranty on that either:dontknow:

but if interested I do have a budget set of lines that are braided for $100 shipped, and you could build a set yourself, but after buying the correct adapters, the wrenches and the vice inserts so that you dont scar up the fittings, you would have more than twice that in them

I normally dont stock those, but it usually dont take long to get them, but I have a couple sets of the lifetime ones in stock now, I need to check but after I send JOe mags his I think i will have 3-4 sets left for now

heres some food for thought i bought the extend care plus for my truck cost me around 2500(100det)i bring my in for an oil leak found out it was the cooler lines (witch knew already) oil pan gasket and crank pos sensor. dealer fixed the pan and the crank i said what about the cooler lines, they turned around and told me there wearable items, i said ok ill replace them my self and ill put stainless steel one on there and wont have to worry about it, they said it sounded like a good idea but if you have any more problem like cook a head they can blame it on the lines and it best to use the stockers (i didnt like to hear that,cause they can void the warr and im s.o.l) so i got the stockers for now till my warr is up on that truck . i just know the rep for the northeast section is a dick

oh, ok, well you know thats not a prob bud i got a couple sets in stock,plus you know i stand behind most of my stuff anyway,

if it is claimed a wearable item they cant deny you anything, jsut as brake pads, if you install aftermarket pads, they can deny a claim on the mastercylinder going bad, done been down that road

and ya can always mention the Magnuson-Moss act to the service guy & tell him to touch base with the warrenty/legal dept. if he don't know what that is & will usually get things rollin
