Thoughts and Prayers needed here too...

Just got a call from my Step-Mother, seems my father had a major heart attack yesterday!

He made it through, but the cardiologist said he was lucky to be alive. I think the wording he used was, "Should be dead!"

His heart was only getting 40% of the blood it needed. There were at least 2 arteries 100% clogged and a couple more that were not quite as bad.

The blood work suggests that this was not his first heart attack.

The Ironic thing about it is that Dad always claims to know everything about health. He has been a vegetarian for years, and tries to eat healthy. In the end, it really doesn't matter I guess.


Please add my Dad, Ron to your prayers for a speedy recovery and a healthier heart!

Talk about a run of Bad Luck. Anyways give Ron my wishes for him to have a quick recovery. My Dad had a heart attack as well a couple of years ago. He was Hiking miles away from any phone when he had one. He was lucky as well to survive that ordeal. He is a health nut as well. I'm just happy He's still around and I hope the same for Ron.

My father had lots of heart issues too. Eventually he had a 4 way bypass. He was much better after that. Cant say my dad was a vegi guy though......he loved his beef.

They are doing some tests on the arteries in his neck this afternoon. There may be some blockage there too! Hoping for a positive note from the Doctor!
