Thoughts on this car for sale.......

I love the 69' year model, and I may just not know about that car enough but on first look that thing is HIDEOUS looking....i would not want to be rolling down the street in that....especially if a 69' Stang, Camaro, or GTO pulled up next to me! I don't even think i'd drive it if i had it!

i would drive it and let a comaro, mustang pull up next to me i would'nt have to prove anthing to them im sure they will know what it is and pay their respects as any true car guy would if i had the cash shed be mine no questons asked she is beautiful and leathel an old mopar add stated" to fast... not a chance not for those who shun attention" and thats the truth

I know it's got some value and it's an old Mopar with a rare HEMI...
I'm a car guy and I would buy the Mach 1 Eleanor mustang for $500,000 which is worth every penny (if i had the $$) way before I even considered buying that car for a 1/4 of what they're asking. Chop that front end and cut the wing in half and then maybe i'd consider it

true car guys will bow to this car.

First year out it dominated the nascar circuit and lapped other cars.

2nd year out nascar said it could not run a big block anymore and would be limited to a small block. Even it was still winning races by a lap.

After that this car was banned from nascar.

the irony of it is that in 1970 chrysler couldn't give them away. Saw a documentary on speed a while back.

It's been through several owners... I doubt it has 3 ORIGINAL miles (unless I missed something in the discription). More like 3 miles since restoration. :dontknow:  It's a full 100pt restoration on a VERY original car. Restoration shops can get a "little" carried away tho, like it looks these guys have done. They state the "The nose fit on this Daytona is the best I've ever seen...". That would be because they FIT the nose that way. They just didn't come that way from the factory.... The paint is VERY glossy and free of orange peel. Again, not original. Some car clubs actually take points AWAY for this stuff. Some concours shows encourage it... I, personally, think they went to far. But, hey... :dontknow: Nice car. :)

Its a nice car but man..thats expensive...The 3 miles thing is misleading IMO..the car was restored, but the actual milage isnt disclosed..Does a car usually get restored after having 3 miles on it?..
I would prefer a 70 Superbird personally.

take a look at it again and you'll understand why....HP it blows others away....looks wise it can't stand next to a Stang or Camaro...looks like an unused prop from back to the future:D

It's a very nice car, but over priced in today's market.

Bill.

what the hell does that have to do with this thread!!!!

If I could afford that(which I 100% cannot)I would most likely not be part of this forum,Hell if I could afford it,I would buy it and run the crap out of it!!!
If my memory is even close to accurate,I remember those cars being tanks and not having very impressive performance stats!!!:burnout:
