I was against it at first but now the idea doesn't seem so farfetched, if they get rid of the gas tax(which is .50 a gallon at this time in my state) and charge a road tax based on miles driven it acutally comes out cheaper for some of us depending on how much they charge anything under .5 a mile I would come out ahead.

Then you run the chance of oil companies, charging that extra .50 a gallon because most people don't recognize they pay that much in tax and are just use to it.

You would be surprised how much info they have as far as GPS with the technology in cars already.

thats why i have a 2003....last of the fancy technology free vehicles.
