throttlebody

bbk / roe / who is tony? And what the price the bbk/roe are priced together.

I would in my personal opinion your dual blade on the viper is going to actually perform and give you a better throttle response than the single blade

if you study the air flow dynamics of both models the dual blade is much more efficient with air and fuel distribution, and it should give you more low end punch , while it may sacrifice some on the top end, where the single blade will or should be reversed.

for everyday driving a dual blade would in my opinion be best, a single blade on the viper engine, even fully built models , only seem to make hp on the very top end.

making big numbers is one thing, and what a single blade would do, but the dual blade should make hp all across the board, while maybe not the peak number like the single , but I would rather make hp across the entire range instead of a 1000rpm shot.

I'm another oddball as far as that goes. In the LS1 world and most vehicles today they are single blade big bore. The Viper factory twin blade is actually older technology such as the old TPI 350/305 and the LT1 I own a VTCOA Roe Single Blade and love it. I've only compared to factory though.

they have some , but a limited number, its the same with everything on our trucks the large manufacturers are not continualy making certian items for our trucks, its not in there best interest to have tons sitting on the shelf with only so many trucks made, so both are correct, they are not "running' any more, but they do have them, we sell them all the time,

And that is how anything for vipers and even more so viper trucks is going to be. Mopar is a low production company and the viper stuff is there limited production stuff. Just to give some perspective, Ford made about 9,500 GT40s each year. Dodge only made about 9,500 of these trucks over there 3 year span. So parts are going to few and expensive.

You will feel alot better throttle response with the big, single blade but only due to losing all vacuum within 10% of opening. a ported twin will offer the same wide open performance but still be alittle more driver friendly when driving around town. I have the stock twin but i would dare to ask if the big single has alot of "surge" when in cruise control? And do the brakes feel alittle "sluggish" at times? You know, going from throttle to brakes quickly? Just asking...

I also have the Roe VTCOA edition since they first came out,Have never had any problems with it.Like you though,i can only compare to factory.I like it.

I have the roe, and never a problem, well just the TPS going bad after install.

But did notice throttle responce is faster.

I know not to expect a big increase in power, or quicker times at the track, But i want the most in a throttle body, is the shiny newness attached to a powdercoated intake. But more importantly raw off idle throttle response. I want it to make the throttle more touchy and give the feel of having more power on tap. Maybe even a different sound under the hood. You know that little whistle you get with a CAI.

Does Tony polish up the outside of the stock ported?
Which TB is going to give more response?

LOL single blades man someone show me some power??????

we should soon have a tb out that actually does something BEFORE 5000 rpms;)

I do mostly driving no track time. I undrstand how the single is for upper end and that brings me to another ? How about headers? What are the best for that?
