tinted tails...

... has anyone with tinted tails been almost rear ended b/c of them? I just bought the kit and as luck would have it, was sitting in front of the tire shop where i work and saw a Ford with tinted tails almost get rear ended. just wondering if that was the reason?

Mine look really dark but the LED's shine through it very well. That is one of the reasons I went with LED's.

yup.got nailed pretty good. ..im going the rout you are this time with the tint...trying the tint on LED's instead of smoked on factory lenses.

One other thing. I tried the actual tint kits on ebay and had a hell of a time stretching it out using a hair dryer. I guess I don't have those skills. So then I cleaned everything up and spray tinted them using VHT nite shade (LINK)

I would recommend reading this thread --> Thread if you are interested in using spray tint. I would pay close attention to post 31 for tips from a pro!
