Looks like after a day of research the stock scorpion tires get the best ratings on most tire sites. I found them for $740 shipped for a set of 4. Anyone know where to get them any cheaper? Thanks.

They are mint, had maybe 10 miles on the rims if that. Guy bought an 06 night runner, and wanted the polished ones. The rims were swapped before he picked it up at the dealer, and he had no use for the black ones, so he sold them to me for $750.

I have these on the quad/cab   went from smoking the tires to hooking every time the ride is perfect and smoothRickspeed said:After more research I went with the Conti Contact UHP's Got them for $743 shipped from Tire Rack. On most tire review sites these got better ratings overall, less noise, longer tread life, better traction, and perform better in wet weather.

I'll also go to another product next go round.

But I believe I'll do the Kumho Ecstas or the Toyo Proxes next......
These are (after all) still just trucks.... And, I think that spending 300 bucks a tire is a bit rich unless you require them for running competatively on a race course.....
I'm still not convinced that Generals quality control is up to snuff.... Sure some guys got good tires, but others did not.... It's a question of consistency... I don't think I trust 'em..... But that's just me....

If your basing your decision on the reviews from 1010tires, let me put your mind at ease. Some of those reviews were on tires that are not even available in the Grabber UHP's sizes. I think one guy had an F250 and another guy quoted a tire size more for off roading. If you haven't yet, check out the reviews at TireRack. I'm not trying to convince you to buy the Generals. I just don't want you not to buy them based on bad information. To add to the confusion there are other versions of the Grabber (AT2, TR, AW, ST, HP). Perhaps one of those versions is what they are talking about. The UHP's are getting excellent reviews. Happy hunting.Django said:I'm still not convinced that Generals quality control is up to snuff.... Sure some guys got good tires, but others did not.... It's a question of consistency...
