Time for new skins! I got 24k out of my factory Pirellis and I'm pretty happy with their performance. Anyone having good luck or suggestions on other tires? FYI, performance is more important to me than mileage!! Thanks

I noticed that the bfg G-FORCE is the only other tire with the Z speed rating??

I agree with the BFG KDW... and I'm the same as you... performance over mileage is my priority. I just replaced my Pirellis with the BFGs and they are significantly better in every aspect, IMHO.

what the other 3 guys said on the BFG's:rock::burnout::rock::burnout:

gettin my 2nd set installed next week, after i get the wheels refinished:D:D

4 vehicles and they all run:adore::adore:BFG's <Comp,Mud,A/T,G-force> I will pay the extra every time, in my all terrains I pulled 2 3" woodscrews out of the tread and not even a leak :rock:

You can get the Hankooks for a pretty good deal and they offer 305/40/22 for up front and 325/40/22 for the back. That extra meat in the back will help alot and you wouldnt even really notice a difference in looks

Still looking at tires and have it narrowed down to the BFG G-Force or Bridgestone Dueler Alenza's. The Bridgestone is speed rated to 168 so it compares in that regard to the BFG.

These two tires are completely different animals though and was wondering if anyone else has the Bridgestone and what kind of grip they have or just what your thoughts were of them.

I like the BFG but it is a summer tire and a soft one so I was concerned with them lasting is all. That was why I was looking at the Bridgestone, a little more bang for the buck if the performance was still decent.

I have seen one post on here where someone was using the Bridgestone and they liked them. Just wondering if there is anyone else.

just got my 2nd set of BGF's this week.

33,000 miles, drove her in ice & snow, temps. in the teens last winter. made it up hills that other folks could/would not go up.

so:dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:

BFG's are great tires when warmed up. Very good in the rain due to the wide tread pattern.
When it's cold out and they are not up to temp they are slippery.
I have heard that some people say they are noisy but I cannot confirm that because I cannot hear them over my exhaust.

I also have the BFF kdw's. I can vouch for the superb traction in rain and warm weather. They are a very soft tire so your wear is not going to last but performance is great. When temps drop to below 70 though you will notice they don't grab as good !

I have had the Conti's and now Yokohoma's. I love the Yoko's, but will have the BFG's next for traction. However, I saw a RC today at a dealership that was sporting Goodyear Fortera's. This may be the best looking tire I have ever seen on our trucks.

Anyone tried the General Tire Grabber UHP tiers?

There not bad better than stock....but they only lasted about 18k. I need tires soon

I have had the Conti's and now Yokohoma's. I love the Yoko's, but will have the BFG's next for traction. However, I saw a RC today at a dealership that was sporting Goodyear Fortera's. This may be the best looking tire I have ever seen on our trucks.

I was looking at either the Goodyear or the firestone.....

P.O.S. badyears are the hardest out there:toilet::toilet:

the Firestones look promisin:rock::rock:

Between my 10 and my old Hemi truck I rocked, Pirellis, Continental UHP Cross Contacts, Hankook Ventus RH06, Nitto 420's, Cooper Zeon XST. I have to say the Nitto 420's are my fav. I will be putting these on the 10 in a few months once these Coopers wear down some more.
