While searching for info about Torque converters I read this.

100 jump in CFM carburetor can change where the converter will stall.

An intake manifold can change a stall converter as much as 800 RPM.

Is this true??? Why would other mods change the stall speed of a torque converter????

If the components you change or mods you do increase engine torque, yes your converter could stall a bit higher.

Hmmm..I would think a DROP in carburetor size of 100 c.f.m. might increase stall speed, but it all depends...
