Does anyone know which of these classes our truck are in?

In the '05 service manual there are 5 different torque spec classifications for some of the same bolt/nuts.

The classes are...

1. 1500

2. LD 2X4

3. HD 2X4

4. LD 4X4

5. HD 4X4

So, which particular wing of this nuthouse do we belong in?:dontknow: :D

I'd say it depends on what specific fastener you're talking about. The majority of an 05 is a 1500, but obviously the entire driveline, brakes, and wheels are different and will have separate specs.

Exactly, ie...

Lower suspension arm ball joint nut;

1500 series = 38 Ft.Lbs. (then an additional 90 deg.)

HD 4X2 = 100 Ft. Lbs. (BIG difference:motz: )

The steering knuckle & hub are also use on the Rumble Bee.
So, is the "RB" a 4X2 & 4X4 & HD or LD?:argh: :argh: :argh: :confused:

Starting to see my dementia:eek: , I mean dilemma :flute:
