Guys,

I drive an '05 QC and was messing around the other day doing some full throttle acceleration while manually shifting the transmission there was a terrible lag in the up shift. Is this a product of tq management? Or is this a potential problem getting ready to show up?

You hit the rev limiter and that likely prevented the potential problem you were referring to...

Buy an SCT programmer or a Stage 2 flash and all will be fine.

Another option besides manually shifting is to drive around in Tow/Haul mode.
