Went out to Gateway Int'l last night with my neighbor (Bill). JMB Justin was there too. Track wasn't hooking very well, so I didn't throw any new numbers down but we had a great time anyway.

Bill (05 RC w/ X-Metal Paxton) and I got to race heads up 4 times. The PBJ N/A truck did me proud (4-0). :D :D :D

Thanks Joe.

My best was only a 12.72@111mph with a 2.0 sixty and spinning all the way thru 1st gear. I think Bill ran a best of 12.8x@109mph.

Track was NOT hooking. My best 60' was 1.96 with the M&H 390s. For comparison, my last trip to the track I pulled mid 1.8s easily. Bill has Caltrac bars (and M&H 390s) on his truck and was pulling high 1.8s. He's pulled 1.6x's before.

That is great to see a NA motor run that good. You had 2 more miles an hour on him. So yours should run a .40 or .30?
I am hoping for a 12.3x with some good air and good track prep. :dontknow: The mph is there.

This N/A motor is just freakin NASTY. It pulls way hard down low. It has an unmistakable sound when it winds up.

I kept blowing off the tires in 1st gear on every pass. :burnout: Lifting is not in my vocabulary, lol.

:D

Oh yeah,

Almost forgot....1st pass I cut a perfect light - .000

Timekeeper shook my hand at the timeslip booth, lol. :D

Also bumped the limiter and 1st and 2nd though, so that run sucked!!

:toilet:

What's the elevation there in STL?

12.7's spinning aint bad!!

Elevation is only about 500 ft AGL.

I believe Density Alt was under 1500 ft last night. I thought it was going to be a good night. But the track prep sucked. Can't drop any good ET's if you can't get out of the hole. :D

Sounds like a good time. Congrats on beating the blown.

Getting a .000 at the light..........wow. Now I have another goal to strive for at the track. Congrats on the RT.

I started a thread about a 12.0 - 12.2 NA time. We were debating if it was possible for the NA Srt10. You may be the first one to make this happen.

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun.:burnout: :burnout: I will be testing out the truck tonight atthe track with JMB's mods that I recently purchased and installed.

That might be the case depending on your age.:D

I am not sure on the different types of trees. I know NHRA runs here all the time.

My timeslip said .000, NO redlight and the track timekeeper shook my hand and said congrats!

It is definitely possible. Add some good air (neg or zero DA and some good track prep) and I am confident I can pull off a real low 12.

I like your truck, I'll be following your progress on your build. I too would like to get into the low 12's N/A. Will be a bit tougher with the QC though.

As for the reaction time, good job  Perhaps the way the reaction time is reported there is time above standard 1/2 second counter :dontknow: Better than I've ever done for sure.

With everything you have done with your truck Tim I am surprised you dont have caltracs. Any reason why?

FYI......at my track a perfect light is .50 Must be in the software the track uses, on whats considered perfect.
