Trade in truck for Challenger?

I was thinking about an '09 R/T with the 6 speed.

Thing is I'm not even commissioned yet and am still in school but I'm thinking the Challenger would make a good Lt car :rock: .

Also, what do you guys think the difference would be between the R/T 6m and the SRT 6m in the quarter? 380 < 425 but not by much right?

Also... anyone hear about a possible 'Cuda... the Challenger's a fat turd at 41xx pounds.

SRT vs RT......lot more than just HP...suspension, brakes, interior, tires, etc, etc......dont get caught up with just HP..

The 300C SRT-8 is around :dontknow: 3900lbs.. You could try that bit of sterioded muscle wrapped in a tuxedo. I terrorized a Vette with mine just yesterday, enough to make the driver take it abruptly off the freeway.

No. Better off with a 300C SRT8 of Jeep SRT8 if the looks do it for you. If your prefer the Challengers looks, get an original. Lighter, not too far off the price, relieable simply mechanics and more attention plus faster. Test drive one first. What I don't get is why Dodge made it such a fat whale. It weighs more than the original, gets the same MPG as the original (give or take 1-2mpg) is wider and longer than the original.

Are they dyslexic? They should have made it lighter if anything. Wide and long is fine, muscle is muscle but sheesh, 35 years on and they still can't shred weight. I know the reason but still. Making a 2 door off the LX 4 door platform was the drawback. All that R&D and they skimp on redesigning a chassis that in the end could make or break the project...............

I would not make that trade, mostly for two reasons

1. The dealer will not deal on the car
2. They will screw you on a trade in

If I bought a Challenger, RT or SRT it would be as a DD in place of my Hemi Ram, but would sell my Hemi out right.

I wouldn't trade in the 10 for the Challenger specially not for the R/T. No way no how.

I'd love to have one w/a manual, but could prob only get one by trading/selling truck and I'm NOT Willing to do that!!
