Transgo Shift kit?

its best to change fluid, filter, your governor solenoid, adjsut the bands at the same time,

I am trying to put together a complete kit,

but honestly unless you are really good with tools, do yourself a favor , have a tech or a professional put it in, one nicked oring or forgotten BB and you will cause yourself a ton of headaches
I may not be a transmission specialist, but I slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night. If I screw it up, I'll just pack it all up and ship ya the valve body and all it's pieces. :D

Transmission line pressure cannot be adjusted at all in the PCM. There are no electronics on the transmission to control line pressure. There is only a screw on the side of the valve body that presses on the spring of the regulator that adjusts the line pressure.

Ok, good to know. Maybe other vehicles I've worked on have that capability. I know the PCM in the Lightning has some way to control line pressure.

So what does the modified trans shift strategy (with a tune) in the PCM actually do? Stock, the transmission doesn't shift nearly as quick/firm as it does with my Roe-tuned SCT program. I realize the shift points are raised, but something else is done with the electronic programming to provide better "performance-oriented" shift quality.

Clean everything well. Make sure the check balls , springs are in the proper location ( don't lose them) . Use a good inch pound torque wrench and torque everything to proper specs , Including the bands. Make sure your shift linkage is properly adjusted for park ,( Call Suncoast about that) or you can burn up your front clutches. do not over or under fill the fluid level. Take your time and follow the instructions...
