Hey guys im new to this forum and was hoping for some help here. I have a 03 dodge ram 5.9 that i recently ripped the motor out of and put what i was told was a 05 srt-10 engine and tranny in. Turns out that someone swapped the tranny in between the deal thinking nobody would find out....Well when i went to install drive shaft i realized the seal was HUUUUGE comepared to the srt-10 slip yoke i bought. the shaft spline is the same but the seal is huge so i pulled the seal out and headed to dodge thinkin i could just buy a different seal. came home and the seal fits around the yoke fine but the hole for the output housing is way to big....is there a bushing or something that i need to reduce the size of the output housing so the output seal will fit? pleeeease help me out here guys i just spent a lot of money getting this tranny completly rebuilt and we called dodge to see if they knew anything and sure enough they didnt lol. i even tried to buy a complete new output housing from dodge but what they showed me has the same huuuge hole for the 2500 cummins diesel seal
