Transmission & Rear End

[HV SRT]

My transmission won't down shift into 3rd gear. Anybody know what might cause this. No problem going from 2nd to 3rd. I also wanted to know if anybody knows what carrier our rear ends have. Is it Tru-track or Track-lock? Thanks for your info.

I don't see a shifter in your list of mods. You could not possibly have driven your truck this long without a B&M shifter, right?

I have a X -Metal shifter. I though it might be defective so today I put the stock shifter back and it still won't down shift from 4th to 3rd. It also won't shift from 1st to 3rd. It will only shift from 2nd to 3rd.

Do you have any hydraulic leaking problems? Double check that. No fluid, no pressure, no shift.
How is your clutch pedal? Normal, soft (easy to engage) or?

No leaks and pedal is normal.

The carrier for 4.10's is a#1, 4.56, 4.88, #2 carrier

Shipping is a killer, on a pallet it is near 500lbs
(shipped one to Florida truck frieght) Ouch!!!!!
