well finally got time to do a little work on her and finally get the cal tracs installed i got for my birthday in october. Boomer says 3 hour install time in the real world. i will let yall know how it goes.

Don't you have to have access to some type of press for the bushings? If I could leave the county I would drive up and give you a hand. Let us know how the install goes and what you think about the caltracts.

Shoot it usually takes me 3 hrs just to unwrap stuff I get from BOOMER. Better have all day for that install, lol. :p

got one side on in a hour almost finished worst part is getting bushing out, used a head wrench and all is well in the universe, got about 30 minutes worth left. will keep yall posted.
 
ok got them done boomer quoted 3 hrs we got her done in two. i guess we were hitting on all cylinders today.pretty good for some rednecks. adjusted them 1 full turn after they hit the springs. felt pretty good on asphalt. will test them at the track this sunday afternoon.

we have a press but its in storage since we never use it. got it done with a bfh and a torch. didnt take long at all.

What is a bfh?
 
Do Caltracs help the QC launch? Are they worth the cost and effort? And what do they cost?

The best I have been able to tell Larry is that they are worth it. The cost of them is not too bad. But I have yet to get them, so I can't give you a real good answer.
