It's too bad, met Marty at Earl's GTG and thought he was a stand up guy. Hope it all turns around, has anyone spoken with him, is he trying to resolve issues?
marty is a stand up guy !!!

regardless of the few who like to dump all over him, he goes the extra mile for guys..... i seem to remember that when flyinglow's truck's power steering pump went out on his many hour trip home - it was marty that drove a great distance to fix it in a parking lot........ :dontknow:

try having any engine rebuilder that put's new pistons in your truck come many miles away to replace a power steering pump - after hours - no charge.......... :(

btw, i have one of marty's sct tuners - works great - no issues @ all.:D

There is a test port on the fuel rail, just undo the cap turn the key on and then press in the shrader and see if there is any fuel pressure...

as you should of .......

you didn't mention it originally when you were raving about him:

http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/showpost.php?p=536428&postcount=19

still a ton better than the alternative. :)

Both those posts were before I got charged. I didn't think I was going to. The charge just showed up on my CC a week later and I had to call to find out what they were for. Still way above the call to drive all the way to help me out. I'm thankfull for that. Thanks Marty!!

any news on the issue?

Yes, Smoke went to counseling with Dr. Phil over his truck issues.

Dealer thinks he has it figured out. Going by there today for a better explanation so I can see what they are talking about. Wasn't anything to do with the fuel pump, fuel filter, TPS or SCT.

It's issues like this that make some of us miss the days when an engine only had about two or three things that could possibly be wrong.

I still think a carb beats the shit out of FI.

in peak HP, yes, but in torque over the rev range... hhhmm... soon to see with my Porsche carbs, i wonder myself ... in circuit racing it are the HP and torque you have accelerating out of every corner , the final HP at max revs isn't that much used.... hope to get it "good" with the Weber carbs..

Looks like the problem was a wire going into the plug for the front sensor. It was never heating up the sensor so it was not reading correctly. The dealer also drilled out and re-tapped my wing so I can put it back on.

Now the bad news. Truck is smoking and leaking oil out of the tail pipe. Mechanic thinks the turbo is leaking oil and not the engine. Waiting on emails back from Marty as the turbo was rebuilt during the rebuild cause it was damaged. Once I get this fix I'm selling or trading in. Problem is the only thing I want is another SRT-10.

Threw this code today. Any help.
P0432-2/1 CATALYTIC CONVERTER EFFICIENCY - SRT10

if it blowing oil from the tail pipe, it could be tripping that code.

Just going off what you have said in previous posts. Might out the converters all the platinium beads might be getting too much oil on them to burn it off.

I have no cats and no oil out of the tail pipe. I think this just might be a problem with the SCT program.

Do you have O2 simulators in the rear O2 sensor positions or just regular O2's in the mid pipes and no cats?
