Hmmmmmm
Hey Bro
I was refering to the talent comment not the want to pull back glass:D
I hate glass as I end up doing these old ones since non of the glass guys around will touch stuff not glued in on windshields. if it's a full back piece and not the sliders I would just as soon shoot it in the truck as less chance for damage and it would not fit my cab . For that I have a recycleing blaster so I dont make a big mess

:shakehands: Ok :D I wont be mean to ya (for this <G>) First I read U & Me gonna get rich ,then I read the no talent and the next post is sending my work out :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:
Ok better now ROFLMAO
I still like the part bout getting rich :five:
I have been thinking of options and I might be able to do some kind of acid etch kit but I really would want to do some testing to see if it works for shit or not . I have never done that type as always had blasters around and the acid stuff is kind of a tricycle of etching . Just the other week I was asked to come up with a design to blast in a guys back window "Rather be Cummin than Stroked" .
I really just like the variation in how I make money that way I dont get too uptight about any one thing or bored . The other year I did copper roses ,hand shaped and annealed for color but after making several hundred for Muthers day I aint made one in a couple years ,maybe next if the mood strikes LOL or maybe I just have the perfect ADD work :dontknow:

I wish.

If we could find someone talented enough to do the etching, it could be done.

These back windows are a royal pain in the ass to get out without damaging anything, but we can do it.

The etching idea is a good one though.

Bill.

I have someone at work that has been doing artwork, and entry way doors for 15 years...her work is incredible...I will talk to her tomorrow.
It's not cheap though.:dontknow:

Ok, so I talked to my guys and they tell me they have both sandblast etched and lazer etched car glass, many times. There's a couple of ways we can do this, I personally think it would be cool to etch the inside of the glass and paint the etch body color, then put the tint back over it. I think that might be a neat effect, they've never done it, but agree it would work. The other way is to etch the outside, which can be done (assuming sandbasting is used) without removing the glass from the truck...of course, if anyone wants the latter option, you're gonna have to get your truck to Fayetteville Ark, which is where the company I'm buying is located...

Speaking of which, Patrick/Jack, what's a guy got to do to become a full blown supporting vendor around here??? I just got off the phone with the owner and the deal is done, so if anyone needs any stripes, flames, or other vinyl type stuff, or any signs for persoanl or business use, etc, I can now be your huckleberry...God Damn I'm gonna miss the telecommunications business...NOT!!!!!!!
