I found that my truck pulling left or right during driving around 65-75mph on the highway. I was not sure if it is because of tires. Maybe I will need have my wheels alignment? Any helps would be great! Thanks!

Don't forget the crown of the road......

Actually, I could feel the force of pulling to left or right on steering wheel.

I just find it odd that a wheel alignment (bad) could cause a pull to the left and right.

That's why I mention the crown. Here in Utah, the crown of the road, depending on what lane your in can and will produce a noticable pull. More in my truck than the wifes car....

But what do I know :dontknow: I'm an idiot

I'm not a mechanic and have no mechanical ability, so my observation may be a bit skewed...

Good luck on finding a solution. Lets us know what you find

I'm assuming you have the stock tires on the truck.

Square shouldered tires like these follow the ruts in the roads real bad. One of the prices we pay for that extra 1/4 to 1/2 inch of tread on the pavement. The other thing about these square shoulder tires is they can be finicky about tire pressure.

If the pressure is to high you get a crowned tire, with the contact patch in the center of the tire. What happens then is if there are ruts in the road, the contact patch moves over the surface of the tire.

Make sense?

:dito: I was able to make my truck pull left or right just by where I lined up the tires in the road ruts while driving.

Are you sure you're not smoking the tires in second gear?:D

Thast the price to pay for having wide tires, yall shuld drive the viper... it's way worse!!!

first check your air pressure, and also do they need rotating?

if thats all good the only thing that would cause left and right on a flat uncrowned road is toe in, if its excessive you will have outter or inner tire wear and the truck will be quirky.
so alignment will be needed.

I also have it, its part of the roads here man. The 10" wide tires dont help, Im hoping when i put my lowering and bumpsteer kit in from boomer itll help a little. Ill let ya know...

Yes, I have the stock tires. My tires are all very bad and worn out. I will get all the new 4 tires soon. After that I will have them alignment and see if they are doing better. If not then it is because of the roads.

I would guess it is not alignment. If it was it would always pull one direction, not both. Save the money for tires.

But as others said, the road condition (crown) is probably the factor here.

Mine does it also here in AZ, some roads are great to drive on..others suck so bad that I have to agressively counter steer.

I had them check the alignment when I got the truck, it was out about 2% from the factory.. helped just a tad, but nothing worth jumping up and down over...

Same thing in cali ... the roads suck so bad you have to fight the steering wheel just pulling up to a stop light.

With my truck it was the stock tires. The truck was darting all over the place. I've since replaced them and now it's smooth sailing. Rides like a car.
