I'm not sure what section to put this thread so I put it under general.

I put together a video system for the truck. I always do video anyways so I might as well make it a little easier on me. So this is a picture history of the install:

I started here.

cooooool, need more pics also of the DVR

do you plan to install at rear too?

Yes bro as some members here really like the rear view.:dontknow: :dontknow: But I have to be able to get the other side of the finish line at the track as well.;) Yes I'm building this for the 1/4 mile track video.

I'll take some test video this weekend and post it.:D

That is cool as hell Brad! Never seen anything like it.

Good job :top:
I have a camera also in my grill, and one mounted to the tag. I had a computer installed in the truck with a touchscreen VGA monitor that replaced the radio. I could record video to the computer. I wasn't happy with the way it sounded so I took it out untill I go with another amp, and get a new monitor.
It is actually pretty cool to do a PC in the truck. I could access my ipod, play movies, surf the net, play music off a 200 gig drive, navigation, also had it connected to the trucks computer and displayed engine data.
Go to www.mp3car.com and you can get more ideas :D

That would be my concern! Doesn't what you put in the "buritto warmer" need to be as cool as possible or wouldn't you atleast want it to be? I can't imagine it holding up to well, especially w/lid on. that box on mine gets extremely hot inside and does not cool anywhere near fast.

Very Coool!

Can't wait to see it in action

how do the componets hold up to the heat?

After a solid 8 hours on the road in hot weather the burrito warmer did just fine. I'm sure it cooked but the system is designed to be used 5 - 10 min at a time during 1/4 mile racing at the track. If I was to use it for everyday driving I would have to relocate the burrito warmer inside the cab.
