TT's

Like others have probably already mentioned, you can get a turbo/twin turbo/supercharger/nitrous setup with lots of horsepower but your stock tranny will not hold it. Many forum members have spent many thousands of dollars just trying to get the tranny to hold the power the turbos/superchargers produce. Speed/power costs money.

My Paxton blew up on the dyno shortly after I bought the truck. Cost me 7K for a used motor then almost another 10K to have the Paxton taken off the old motor and put back on the "new" motor. Upgrading the pistons was another 3K installed.

Making the power (safe) with a tuner who knows what they're doing is expensive. Then you've got to get the power to the ground...that gets expensive too.

Best of luck with your project, there are several members (including myself) who have been "around the block" with regards to supercharging and turbocharging their SRT Rams. If you have any questions you'll get a lot of good/sound answers. We're here for ya :)

THE MAJOR CHANGES ARE THE FRONT FASCIA AND THE INTERIOR
IT HAS HEATED SEATS
IN DECK 6 CD CHANGER + NAV
ALL THE COLORS IN 06 ARE KIND OF DARKER
AND AS FAR AS I KNOW... IT'S HEAVIER THAN 05QC:mad:

no offensice but honestly i think the 05 look better but i still like the 06
do u know wat are the best mods i can do on a stock srt-10 cuz that tt's i could never afford it how do u add pictures to the reply i would like to know

I HAD AN 04 HEMI AND I REALY LIKED THE FRONT FASCIA AND THE HEAD LIGHTS ...BUT SINCE THE 06 W/ THE NEW FASCIA AND NEW STYLE CAME UP... THE SRT 10 ARE NICER THAN BEFORE..... BUT LIKE YOU SAY ...THATS JUST MY HONESTLY OPINION.
 
lol i never really liked the red but its all good as long as its an srt haha well i might jsut go ahead and do those instead of the tt's to much $

Damn Tommy, that is one very funny video.:rock: Yes Tony has had the patience of a saint with this whole twin turbo built up. however when it is all said and done (when ever that is:p ) it will be one very bad-assed ride.

Zex has the fastest truck on here...with about 5 grand into it.

If you wanna go fast for a 1/4 mile....put her on the bottle! Gonna buy a motor sometime anyways....I did...twice!
 
BTW....the Bassani's are mid length headers and not shorties. Gibson have the shorties...
 
Ive never heard of them referred to as mid length....even when I bought them they called them shorty headers...where did you get that Ric? Thats good if they are....
 
Or drop a 500 CI Keith Black Nitrous burning Drag motor...You would be pretty different then...

Blake I can't find the website that referred to them as Mid-Length but they are longer than the Gibsons and shorter than the long tubes.

So I call them Mid-Length headers...:D
 
Can someone please explain the 30-40K ????? What are we changing in the block?

Who makes aftermarket connecting rods?

Has someone come up with a stroker crank,rod,piston kit yet??
 
You can check ont he other thread "want twin turbos"

but basically underground will install a custom twin set up on a stock motor complete for $30,000, with a stroker $40,000 with the later around 1200rwhp, thats in a stick not the auto by the way

Oliver makes super rods that alot of engine builders use in the stroker vipers.

and yes many have a stroker kit, comes out to a 522cid, I think I'll try to get a dollar figure on a 522 short block tommorrow.
