Tuner, intake, shifter, throttle body, mirrors...

Please do tell how your experience went with getting a the new hood insulation from the dealer! I can only imagine what you experienced if the parts guy is anything like the one I have to deal with. It's like talking to a cat. Don't care and do not hear you! LOL

My zip code is 75075. Have you used the tuner? Reason for asking is a buddy bought one from eBay. It was tuned to a truck, but the tune was not put back to stock before sold, so he basically got a pretty shiny Tuner box that looks good on his desk holding papers down.

Looking for a tuner on a stock motor. Runs way to rich, besides that I think with the exhaust and cold air it needs to breathe better. Let me know and how much. Also I'm looking for the hood insulation if you know of anyone that may have one.

I'm curious why it would be running rich. How do you know it is?

I believe you can send it to SCT to have it cleared but you'll have to pay. Unless they got rid of that option.

Ok let me check into that.

It will literally choke you out of the garage with the door open when I am warming it up. The exhaust tips are all coated in black and I do not drive it much. I've put 53 miles on her in the last 5 months. I clean the tips when I dust it and one drive later they have a film on them. Maybe something else is wrong but it seems to be running great. I know when I had Hemi fever build a tune from my Ram R/T it woke that truck up and it does not gas me out of the garage. I would almost bet my R/T truck would out run or give the SRT10 a run for its money in the quarter mile with the tune to 91 octane.

I have built several hemi trucks and have owned and worked on even more SRT10s. Depending on what work is done to your R/T compared to the SRT10 it could be a good race. But equal mods the SRT10 should stomp the R/T. If you think they are even or the R/T would win, you have a problem with the SRT10.

I would agree with you. Maybe the SRT isn't running at 100%. She seems to run fine. Maybe I'll check the plugs to as a starting point. No clue where I can take it to have her looked at. The Dodge dealer doesn't have a Viper tech and I've lost faith in them anyways. They never seem to find issues that I know exists. I even asked the service advisor one day, are these guys certified mechanics? He responded with yes, why. I've found three issues on my own, bring it and your guys can't find shit. That's a problem. So with that I have no way of having the SRT checked out by a good reputable shop. If anyone in the North Dallas, TX area knows of anyone please let me know.

A reputable mechanic is good. In my opinion you do not need a viper tech to work on your truck if they are a certified mechanic you should be fine. Some of you might argue i just dont see the point in going to the dealer or a specialist to get raped over price over a motor that is not that different

True iron, if you can wrench on anything else why not wrench on your ride and take some pride that you did it yourself and it's right !

I would say shipping is going to be $20. The truck was set back to stock so the tuner is unlocked and ready to use.

Is the SCT tuner still available??, I'll take it
