I just ordered the software. I'm gonna take a stab at programming this thing myself. I've done a bunch of Chevy stuff -- we'll see how hard the viper stuff is. It was $350 + shipping.

Has anyone asked if the software data logs yet? As of December they still did not have that capability... the main reason I sent mine back.

The guy I talked to (Daniel) said that they were supposed to have datalogging capability several weeks ago. He said that he did not know when that capability would be available.

Well they were actually supposed to have it in Nov. of last year. They told us "two more weeks" for over a month so we sent it back. I am extremely unimpressed with them. If anyone is waiting for the data log capability choose another option as they apparently aren't close but will string you along until you lose patience.

well has anyone had any luck with this yet i was going to call them on monday ,,,would like a first hand report if someone has one :D

If you have never worked with it or know chryslers perameters it is not worth it had it a month now still like looking at chinese writing to me. No data logging. Only plus would be if you had a tuner near by who used sct but doesnt have the viper package then he could use yours but other then that I wasted 360 bucks. Mr. Roe will continue to tune for me:marchmellow:

OK, so I have the SCT programming software up and running. First, I'm going to play with the cooling fan temps. Then, I'm going to see if I can make the tranny shift how I want and remove the torque managment. Then I'll go into the spark and fuel tables.

The tuning is more complicated that I thought it would be. There are tables upon tables which rely on more tables and scaling factors ad nauseum. It's fairly involved. But, I will get through it. I'll let you guys know how it goes so that if anyone else wants to try to program their own tune, they can learn from my mistakes, lol.

Just try not to join the many amature tuners who have blown engines...:(
