I came home from work yesterday and there were 3 large boxes from JMB waiting for me (my full exhaust system). All of the sudden I started feeling sick. I don't think I'm going to make it in to work today

Mad-Modders Disease.

This is serious, it sounds like Mad-Modders Disease.

There have been several newly reported cases of this illness throught out the country.

There is no cure for this disease, however intensive labor after work and on weekends will usually temporarily arrest the symptoms.

Be very carefull as the symptoms frequently also include, sleeping on couches, doing your own laundry, having a unilateral sex life, frequent, and sometimes, terminal talks with bosses and supervisors.

The symptoms can be carefully hidden if a second job is gotten almost immediatly.

Be very careful that wife or girlfriend does mistake second job for mistress or another girlfriend.

This often leads to stage two, side affects, separation and or divorce.

This often results in the object of the modders focus to completely disappear from the modders world.

The real secret of managing Mad-Modders Disease is moderation in ones personal and work life. While this is not easy it can be done with the support of others that have the disease.

There's an easy cure for what you have, you need to call in sick, gather up some tools, get the beer iced down and get to work. Once the boxes are empty, the parts are on the truck, and the beer's all gone, you will feel much better...

Hmm..I think someone needs to start a 12 step program..We can all be friends of Jack..
I can see it now..at a GTG we sit around drinking beer..Someone stands up and says.."hi..my name is (insert name here)..and I am a Mod-a-holic..I got started the same way as most do..first it was a Stage 2 flash..then a Magnaflow..I went on to headers...My bank account was at its lowest point..and thats the thing that really suffers..
Anyway..the day I found out Roe had released the TMTS, I took out a home equity loan without my spouses knowledge..I plunked down my 7Gs and waited..all the while praying my second job would cover the payments..I was wrought with guilt until the day Sean called and said your number is up..I dropped my truck off at Roe during a "family vacation" which coincidently was near his shop..My wife asked me why the truck was in the shop, and I told her it was just an oil change ..nothing big..The day I got the truck back was the happiest day of my life..or so I thought..I heard that there was someone on the forum that had just completed a twin turbo beast and was making some insane HP..I called JMB for a NOS kit..hell the kids could eat Ramen noodles for a few months..
The end came when my wife went to buy toilet paper at Walmart and discovered that her CC wouldnt work..She called Visa and they explained that there were 15 purchases at someplace called X Metal..She came home and confronted me..I confessed that I couldnt stop..Some guy in California had just run his QC in the 11s..Another guy was almost done with his 2000hp monster..She said I would have to make a choice..the truck or the family..
Im really going to miss the kids..I make the child support payments every month..barely...
Sometimes when its late at night, and Im laying in bed thinking about how I can get traction, I log onto the Forum just to see who is doing what to thier truck, and finally, I fall asleep in front of my computer, and dream of The last trip to Underground, and if its possible to get my truck over 200mph...Thats my sad story.."..lol

Beer usually helps to aliviate the Mad-Modder disease. Warning ** To much beer might cause the person to forget what he/she is doing and will have to continue the next day. This is what causes alot of the side effects mentioned before.
