beat the vette heads up. twice. on the best run we both spun pretty bad he had me up to the 1/8, but i reeled him in. i had a horrible 60ft of 2.202, 8.88(to his 8.79) in the 1/8 and 13.8 in the 1/4. i ran 4 times best time of the night was 13.5 at 102 with a not so good 60 ft of 2.154 and that was with 93 octane tune. bumped it up to 100 octane tune for 3 runs (including vette races) and that was apparently more than the tires could take. no matter what rpms i left at as the rpms in first and second gears climbed the tires would start to break loose pretty bad. i did get my best trap speed ever with the 100 octane tune at 106. my best 60 ft to date has been 2.004. if i could combine the 2 i could have a pretty decent time for a NA QC. the other race was so horrible i refuse to post the times, but my 60 ft was 2.479 to his 2.560if that tells you anything.
:congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:
Never doubted it for a moment!!!!!!

work should be interesting on monday. we have 3 srt-10 in the er. he is gonna be catching some serious shi* from every corner. he said he aint going back to the track until he gets intake and full exhaust. on a side note i saw a friggin awesome 2007 porsche turbo last night. he was running high 10's. he pulls in beside me to park. we he gets out im am stunned to see like a 75 yo dude. he was handing people their asses all night.

It's gonna take more than a CAI and exhaust for him to catch you Ken.LOL..BTW..did you find some 100 race gas or did you use the Lucas?

Well done... :congrats:

Congrats!

CONGRATS.... and 106 mph trap speed is very dann good... i remember a member from him Ron running 12.9 several times at that same speed 106mph at rckingham.... so you should be in those times w/ better traction.

i know even stock all 10's can vary widely in power. i do beleive i lucked in to a strong one. i have been very pleased with my times. at the nooga gtg lost to a paxton rc twice, by .2 each time in the eighth. but he prob would have walked me good in the 1/4

used 2 cans lucas to 10 gallons of fuel. i asked him what he thought of the truck and he answered in this order. "that thing is fing loud at wot" and "a whole lot faster than i thought, I kept waiting to start pulling on you and it never happened.

awww so a vette could pull on a heavy 5,000lb truck.

booyah! I bet what he said made you feel damn good!

Hey Ken...this needs to be in your sig..

Corvette owner after run at the track...".....I kept waiting to start pulling on you and it never happened."
