I am kind of overwhelmed at my list, some of it looks like i need to buy it sooner than others . what do you guys think. I am plann ing on purchasing 2 of the following upgrades next pay check what is better.

I have a RC 04.

1. SCT tuner- I can't buy 93 where I am at so I forced to use 91. Should this be a must have item?

2. Exhaust - I hate the stock sound

3. New short throw shifter
4. NewThrottle body
5. New radio bezel previous owner cut it to hell.
6. New plugs/wire/coil kit - truck has 46000 on it I am assuming it is time to change that stuff out.

Thank in advance for your input.

if its a qc the tune is a big thing if its a rc not as large of a deal

1. Exhaust, get it sounding good, it will give you more umphh to buy more shit.

2. QC?

Yes -> SCT tuner, remove torque management. will feel like a new truck
No ->Shifter, shorter throw and catch 3rd a lot easier.

Change out plugs if you want, Coils and wires aren't needed and require removing intake manifold.

Throttle body is only minimal gains, get that later.

Check out scott's (V1R) snakebite muffler's, I have them and they don't sound to shabby, not to bad on the price. Lots of guys like Magnaflow aswell.

I would do an intake and throttle body at the same time, if you dont already have one. put that after 1 & 2 tho...

I've got a regular gas tune. Works for me. :dontknow:

I know when I had my BBK for that short period, there was a noticeable increase in power.

My Magnaflow cat-back sounds good. But is loud when cruising inside the cab.

Regular gas tune?? :dontknow:

No PCM modification w/ 6speed?:dontknow:

My opinion........1A) K&N Dropin filter 1B) change the shifter. 2) do the exhaust including removing cats or at least high flow cats and headers 3) SCT tuner at this point. 4) 3/8" pushrods 5) underdrive pulley. After having the BBK TB it is more trouble than it is worth! 6) Caltracs 7)Lower the tail with blocks(Cheap) 8) Poly bushings ..............be perpared to change the clutch and Release bearing assembly. If ya drive spirited ,it won't last long!!

Yeah I had Torrie send me a tune for regular gas because my job gives me free ETHANOL-FREE fuel ;)

I just used the SCT and flashed my QC computer. No problem. Runs great!

Does the torque management automatically get removed in the 93 tune that Torrie sends out in the SCT?
