Urgent Help Needed...Please

Just came home for a minute to make sure Willow has been out side , tuvk her in for the night and head back to the hospital....Tri-City hospital, Oceanside, Ca room 230 tower 2.....

I talked to all the specialists except the cardiologist today.... They are weighing the results of the EEG, Brain Mri, body MRI, EKG, and every other of the myriad tests dome today.. It was a whirlwind for Lynette.... The last hypothesis suggested the possibility of a form of viral ecephalitis.. But they are still making sure......

You love and rayers have meant the world to us..... The love of this family and friends has been keenly felt..... You folks have really helped to keep me in one piece.....

Savor every day with your loved ones..... Everybody dies eventually.... We have to hold on tight to today....

I'll tell you all more when I have time....

We aren't out of the woods yet. But I'll gladly keep the Lynette that I have now over the virtually lifeless body that I found on the bedroom floor yesterday afternoon......

Hugs, kisses and my deepest thanks for your love....

It means the world to us, Mike........ Love ya....

Status report is about the same... They are still running scores of tests- brains scans, EEK, ECG, EKG, MRis, blood work of every kind and description.... With all of this handling, I just hope she doesn't get a staph infection like I did....

I was so out of it last night trying to sleep at her bedside in a fkn chair that at 5am I had to come home and sleep for a few hers... I woke up at 10 and called the hosptil...Got the MD to call me back... their best best is still viral encephalitis, but they are covering all the bases, analizing all the data and doing more tests.... The food suck and I'm having to special order her food from the cafeteria...

I've talked he my girl several times this morning and she just wants to come home...... Her longterm memory is getting better and she misses her home environment and family....

You've all been showing such love and support..... It's just awesome to know that your friends are sending up their continued hopes, prayers and best wishes.... You have no idea until it's you who is on the receiving end....

I'm trying to unbury my desk and get a coupla hours of work in before I go back to the hospital.... It helps to be distracted from the harsh realities od life to busy my slef with Willow snoring nearby....

Thanks to all of you who've loved us and done anything to help in this trying time... We love you....

Thanks for the update Tim...

Being in the hospital is the best place until she is in the clear obviously. Especially if there is concerns for staph...

Be well and keep her smiling...

I'm the only one who's even thought about staph at this juncture..

Tim, my mother almost died about 2 months ago. When we took her to the emergency room she did not know where she was and faded in and out...her breathing was raspy...her blood pressure dropped to 68/35.....the only thing that kept her pulse up was she wears a pacemaker.

After ruling out heart attack and stroke the doctors suspected she had an infection but did not know where. They put her on 3 different antibiotics. By the next day she started coming around and was out of the hospital in another 3 days. They never found the source of her infection but she made a complete recovery within a week.

Thought I would mention this to give you something to compare..

Dawn's father was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning. hed been sick all weekend, couldnt hold down any food or liquid. by the time he got to the doctors office he was severely dehydrated and his heart is giving him trouble. they are pumping his stomach and saying he may have some sort of blockage. they have him knocked out right now b/c his heart rate is too high. hopefully they will know something shortly. they are skeptical about doing surgery because of his heart.. keep the faith Tim, it will get better.

May God heal every wound and bend the broken hearted in your family.....

Prayers go out to Dad......

In Jesus Name....

I'm glad she's getting her thoughts back, Timmy... That's a great sign, when she wants to just come home. She probably knows the house is a "mess" from her not being there. :D ;)
