I have mine hard mounted to the rear view mirror so it's not easily removable. Since I live just South of the NC/VA border, I've taken mine into VA a bunch of times. Sometimes I remember to turn it off, sometimes I don't. The Valentine is suppose to be invisible to radar detector detectors. So far I've not had any problem with it in VA. I think it's a crock that VA bans the use of detectors anyhow.HOT RAM said:No case or hidden display.
They are $399 new and $422 with shipping
it worked great but it is not legal here in VA![]()

Yes it does.FlyingLow said:Does the Valentine have VG2 protection?
I went through a license check in my work truck with my Escort hanging from the windshield and plugged in. Just wasn't on. The officer checking my license never said a word about it. :dontknow: This was in Halifax Va. Depends on the officer I guess.FlyingLow said:Last I heard the law is you can not have it in the car at all unless you don't have the powercord with it.
