Does some one have the paint code for the Viper red valve covers? And is the colour called Viper red?? I'm painting a CAI and am in need of this info,Thanks in advance:rock:

Dupont high gloss red almost matches to the T. But yes I was wondering the same thing.

I would have just sent that CAI and valve covers to JMB Justin. He would have fixed you right up.

I would but I don't have 3 weeks or better to wait,I'm in Canada and have to deal with the fun customs and pay dearly,I've done lots and they look just as good when I'm finished, thanks for the info.

Do you have a Dupont part number? Or is this a common rattle can color had at most auto parts stores? I was cleaning up my engine today and noticed several chips in the valve cover finish. No clue how they got there. :dontknow:

Joe-

Just north of the 49th right now with pipeline; likely until freeze up...Haven't even been near the 10 in over a month. No more racing this year. I have to sort the tune out anyway as it has always blown black on the top-end so there IS more power in it. 12.40s where you are and 11.9s at sea-level.
Just no time to play right now. Viper projects too...

Thats kewl that you have staedy work now, theres always next year too play,we will have to get a bunch of 10's together and go to Mission or Seattle for a tear at sea level:burnout:

It ALL hit at once....
Mission....my vote...
Your project coming along aok?
Weird: We have a project just the opposite of yours: A 10#er going N.A.
Everyone wants something different..

Ronnie

PS 4 hours to port those ex. manifolds and my truck seemed to like it (a 10th and one m.p.h.). So, roughly 10 h.p. which seemed likely
as the ports were badly mis-matched; esp. on the outer cylinders...that may be 1/2 the power gain with headers right there...

The Strikers may like headers after all; esp. the B&B Tri-Ys (TQ builders). The 3400 for headers and new Hi-Flows is expensive power though...
I doubt there is another 20 wheel but I could be wrong...the Viper CARS like them but their manifolds are pretty bad compared to the truck's.
Apparently there is another 50 wheel in a Gen IV (FULL exhaust). Heads are VERY similar in flow to the Strikers. Hmmmmmmmm...
