VEC programmers and water/meth

I may have been off on the 20 degrees reduction in timing but there was a comment made about reduction in timing. I'll see if I can verify that. Either way it seems as though the Meth would help especially here in Texas with the 100 degree days in August.

Thanks!

Oh, you will definitely notice the difference! Makes summer runs feel like Winter runs. Colder air = more O2

I add 2-3 degrees of timing also with the Meth. I also make a 50/50 meth/water mix. There is company that sells boost juice but it is about 20 bucks a gallon. You can make it yourself for much cheaper.

It can't be used as a stand alone. You have to have something to trigger the meth, so you have to have a VEC2/3. There are other kits out here that are stand alone. I think Snow makes one.

There are a several outfits that offer standalone systems, for use with or without forced induction. The FJO Racing system can be mapped to virutally any sensor on the engine (RPM, AIT, AFR, EGT, water temp, etc.), or any combination thereof, and vary the injection rates accordingly. On this forum, I know Nowwhat has used this system for awhile.

With respect to the injection system making horsepower, by virtue of it allowing more timing advance before detonation through both increased octane and cooler IAT's (not to mention reducing heat-soak as others have pointed out), it most certainly does.:D
