I know that we have a bunch of vets on this board, as well as those serving now. So I thought it would be cool to find out how many we have and how they have served. Years, branch, mos, duty stations, anything of interest I guess.

I am hoping that we can keep this thread clean, thanks in advance.

Army Officer, 1968 - 1979

Duty stations: Washington DC; Korea; Ft. Bragg, NC; Vietnam; Ft. Gordon, GA; Ft. Sheridan, IL.

Great Assignments: Aide-de-Camp; Instructor JFK Center for Special Warfare; Commander, Radio Research Communications Unit, Vietnam (Special Intel); Deputy District Adviser, Cai Bay District, Dinh Toung Province; Project officer for Don "The Snake" Prudhomme; Army Representative to: President's Council on Physical Fitness, Eagle Scouts, and NHRA. The Commandant of the Military Academy (West Point) sent me looking for a woman who could slam dunk with either hand and score above 500 on math and English SAT's. I failed!

I also married an enlisted woman. My rater called it a judgment error which in essence ended my career. That judgment error is now my spouse of nearly 31 years, who is a Chief Technology Officer of a Chemical R and D firm.

We both loved the Army...and it was very good to us on balance.
