VIN flash prices

A question to anyone who has flashed vin on a stage 2.

I'm getting quoted 200$ That seems absolutely crazy to put it in a computer and change the vin...............

My local dealership flashed mine and it was a used DC with a different VIN in it, did not charge for this so I gave the Tech 50.00. No CEL's so far.

a dealer can not change a vin number.

He said he changed the VIN of the truck to match the VIN in the box, all I know is that my truck runs better with no CEL's
