Viper ACR owns ZR1

Looks like it would have been 3 or 4 seconds faster if the driver would get off the rev limiter, shift that thing boy, shift it.

took long enough...viper back on top!!!!

now imagine a s/c on top of that...really scare those chevy boys

What is with that noise and the shifter shaking back & forth?....

only when I go from 3rd to 2nd at 90mph... ..............ahh...shift bastard shift...:marchmellow:

i think they could get close to 4 seconds off that run, the guy was running in 4th against the revlimiter for a while at the end!

Hey, did you guys follow the link from Viperalley over to the Corvette forum? Those Viper guys are teasing the Corvette guys about the vid--pretty funny.

your slow no shiftin ass would add about 20 seconds

That was brutal.............what a car. If you read through the posts it comes up why the driver kept hitting the rev limiter..................the driver was a pro and knew it would cost him time to shift up and back down vs doing what he did.

Rev limiter or not...........that is a brutally awesome video!!! The guy was going so fast it seemed like a video game!!!

Is the Viper ACR actually available to the public at all? I don't think so but I'm not positive. Why don't the release it? That's the only benefit to the ZR1 if not, you can actually get your hands on one.

i would crash, that would add a few days:D

Who was the driver?

I was at the ring one month ago and talked to the guys from zakspeed.
They race a lot with the gen II viper on the ring.
It´s a tricky circuit and no room for mistakes.
