Viper car section?

Hell I have both. I posted a Viper question the other day in the general forum, I don't see a problem with a Viper section for those of us with both to post questions. I can see the point with random car makes, but these are the same brand and share, for the most part, a common driveline and many of our vendors sell parts for both.

I guess vipers are OK if you like sitting sideways and feeling like yer in a mid life crisis hahahahaha... Take it easy...

A different perspective:

Because of the arcane and abusive nature of Viper Alley, it might be a prudent business move to provide a Viper section that is has less drama and much more tolerant that the "Alley"...

If Jack and Patrick were willing to ride herd on a Viper section it might attract a more open and less abusive Viper audience that would contribute more to our technical discussions, and attract some more vertical (viper car) vendors and possibly also generate more "voluntary contributions" to help defray the expense of maintaining this site...heck it might even generate some well deserved "margin" for our owners.

Just a different approach void of emotion and centered on the opportunities.

the concern of some is that these beasts we love were very short lived, and sooner or later this forum , if it stays on the same course will no longer be, interest will eventually die to a certain degree.members will sell, buy different.

If we were able to open to the hemi trucks, the viper cars, and such , look what oportunities it could open.

one has only to visti dodge truck world to understand, 30,000 members and growing.
 
This is the VTCOA remember...T is for TRUCK not car. Maybe someone should start a new viper and fast car forum for those who want it. It could be linked from this site.

I think this place was developed as a viper truck site, no question.

But it has matured into a virtual home for a lot of people many with viper trucks some without. By effective administration and considerable discipline it has become much more than a viper truck site.

The other point is that anyone of vision knows that if you are not growing you are dying...Stinker makes the point of the ebbing of this truck as a vehicle...there are no more being made. While our numbers are growing, we are going to reach a point of diminishing returns in the future...new growth opportunities should not be brushed aside without some strategic thought. But it is the decision of the owners...not the members.

I say keep it simple stupid :D Making sections for other vehicles is reaching.....Many of us long standing members could care less about other cars......People got em so what :dontknow: There are other forums dedicated to your specific proclivities join those :D :p Sounds to me more like an opportunity for someone someplace to make more money some how ? and not in the best interest of the site or the people who enjoy what we have here. Kudos to Patrick for having the Balls to say screw that Shit :rock:
