Viper Head Shift Knob (Thanks Dragon)

I got my Viper Head shift knob from Dragon today, and this thing rocks. I like that its a bit smaller than the stocker which helps with the shifting. Also for anyone with a X-metal shifter or a B&M shifter and you hate the rattle this is a MUST. My X-metal Gen X with the new knob is quieter than the stocker. Yes I did say that. And that is in conjunction with the wind shield urthane.

Anyone that is on the fence about getting one of these. I would tell you to buy this freakin thing already!

Yeah, I got mine from Dragon quite awhile ago. It's a great improvement in feel over the stock knob. Had to use some loctite to get it to stay on but so far it's working just fine! Make sure you order the adapter too.

I like the OEM shifter, nice fit, feel and grip, not into the Viper head glass balls as they can get slippery when the heat is on but this is very tempting indeed. They state: "Leather....." but it looks more like some kind of spray, almost like the stuff you can get on the back of Utes/Trucks, Rhino spray etc. How much smaller are they vs. the OEM leather ball and are they as grippy as they look? I have the X-Metal Gen-X and have just finished the urethane BeGood trick (haven't tested it yet) but if you say this is a "MUST" then it's definitely worth considering! I look forward to the photos. Thanks.
