Viper Master/Slave

I have a quick question about some of the ones that I have seen installed. The clutch pedal is way higher than the brake, I am 6'7" and haveing the pedel any closer would suck that much more. Is there an adjustment or space you can make, or does someone have a picture of one they made? I wont be installing it so i would like to have all the parts ready before hand...

i just purchased a roe clutch kit that includes spacer's for the clutch pedal, but pics showing this in an install would greatly help !!! anyone with pics ??:dontknow:

correct, there should be a 1/2" shim between the firewall and the master cylinder. Mine was just a taaaadddd too high, so I placed another washer on top of the shim to space it away from the firewall just a little more.

boomer kit says it comes with one, justins doesn't say ne thing, whats is roes kit? the same as those two? cost?

I made 3/4" spacers for mine and they worked perfectly for me.I am talking about the spacers for the master cylinder where it mounts to the fire wall.My X-Metal kit came with shims that install in the trans itself for correct pedal engagement.

you need shims on the slave to get engagement right & shims for the master to get the pedal height right ??
the roe kit comes with 2 shims, is that one for each issue ??

Correct...but roe provides 1/8" shim behind the slave...should be a 1/4" and a 1/2 behind the master for pedal height (I also added 1 washed to it).

My kit came with the 2 shims for the slave but had to shim the master via a trip to Ace Hardware. Used 3 or 4 stainless washers to shim out the master to adjust the pedal height. My clutch pedal is about 3/8 inch higher than the brake but didnt want to shim it anymore since I was running out of threads on the master bolts. You can replace the mounting bolts with longer ones and shim it down to the stock location if you want.
