has anyone used the viper specific oil filter that x-metal post about a few moths ago? ---is it a filter you would recommend for our trucks?....what was the price that boomer posted?

Yes, that is the filter that is recommended by Arrow Racing the Warranty rebuilder of Viper Motors. It has a higher flow rating...so its all good.

I just installed mine yesterday. Construction and color is a bit different than the standard Mopar filter. I would assume flow rate and blow by would be possible other changes. I got mine from Avondale Dodge (Vendor here at VTCOA). Patrick can get you set up. Suggested Retail was around $12. Can't remember what Patrick's price to us members where.

Yep...my dealer used it on my last oil change...

I tried it, Picked it up at the Dealer, He checked the part # and found that it is recommended for the 06 trucks.
My 04 still "Whines" a bit on startup but not as much.
