Viper Truck Registry

I think it would surprise everyone to know that the number of Viper Trucks built each year are not consistent to what most believe and that the number of trucks built for the special editions is not consistent to what people believe. Because the Viper truck Community lost interest in numbers, I just didn't continue to throw money at it to finalize what I had learned. There is so much mis information that the real information probably will never be important. You should see some of the crazy numbers used in ads, just makes me chuckle. I've since started working on Vipers and just finished another year. I'm finding the same mistakes with the Vipers. The fact that Chryslers documentation has mis information in it makes what I do entertaining. I can see the mistakes and a lot of times, I know why. Those that remember, also know that the early 2004 VIN tags on the drivers door also had mis information on it.

Most of the time I don't correct mis information, it's not worth the trouble. I also don't modify information presented by Chrysler even when I know it's wrong, it's just easier for me to know that it is wrong. In this case, I know the VIN Tag is right and the Build Sheet is wrong. It also shows the documentation error that was made on Chryslers part which helps clarify why there is mis information.

Hey Jeff, I never got mine into the registry, you already got my build# but I never got a pic of the tag on the door until now(just thought of it), thanks as usual!!!:rock:and a recent pic as of today if needed.....

Are the signature plaques still available??? If so how do I order?
 
I did not see the colored ones so I would want a silver with black lettering and I like the certificates too. Can I just place the order on the registry site??

I am sorry to say however, I haven't really worked on the Viper Truck Registry for several months. I have tons of information, just not a lot of it has been sorted and compiled and to be perfectly honest, the reason is lack of interest by the viper truck public. Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking people to be more interested, as it is what it is. I was able to determing that I only have 370 of the Night Runners. I am either short 30 VIN's (unlikely), or the run of Night Runners was cut short (more than likely). Yes, lots of interesting facts out there still to learn. I'm hoping to be done with the Vipers mid 2015. I have 29,312 VIN's and just over 4,500 of them fully documented. I only have about 825 of the Viper Trucks fully documented and 370 of them are Night Runners or other SE Viper Trucks. With those numbers, if I had just worked on the trucks, I would be well on my way of documenting the 10,037 Viper trucks I have in my DB.


Well.... back to work, there is so much to do and data is disappearing more and more every day

I believe I have vtr-0520 in the truck registry. Vin is 3D3HA16H04G198297. Is there more info I could get on the truck? Not sure what you need for info or if your still doing this haha. Thanks!
