Volant CAI

I just finished installing the Volant CAI. I want to thank J.T. for helping with the install:rock: :rock: and the killer price of the CAI itself. I don't notice the diff between the K&N and the Volant but the Volant def looks way better in the engine bay. The install went real well and took about a half hour and another 30 minuites to relocate the NOS components.

The hood scoop on the Volant does NOT lead directly to the intake.
It first goes to the main box (seen in the pictures with the Volant logo on it) where water is pooled at the bottom of the main box.
The actual filter sits up about 3-4" from the bottom of the main box. There is a 2nd hose goes from the main box to the intake on the engine.

You would have to nose dive the truck into a lake/river/pond to get the 'snorkel' to fill up with enough water to cause a problem.
